Freedom of information act

Posted 2 years, 11 months ago on April 19, 2006 by yerma  Just Stuff

The freedom of information act is a wonderful thing - I have just made a request from Translink for all material leading up to the recent price increase and timetable change which caused so much disruption on the line. Will post more as it becomes available.
Email addresses are: foi@translink.co.uk and nithc@dialstart.net (nithc == Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company, a public body and therefore bound by the FOI :):))
My email to the FOI officer was:

Sir,

I would like to make a formal request under the Freedom of information act for the minutes of all meetings and correspondence/information leading up to the recent decision to change the timetable on specifically the Portadown to Bangor line, my understanding is that names will be blacked out but that the information should be presented within 20 days.

I would also like to make a formal request under the Freedom of information act for all documents leading up to the recent price increases for those of us that use Translink's service which I will again expect to receive in 20 days.

All information may be sent to me at:

With Best Wishes
