Asterisk@homePosted 2 years, 11 months ago on May 1, 2006 by yerma Projects The Asterisk@home project is brilliant - I have got a full PBX system working at home now with about 2 hours work. It features conferencing/call waiting/wake up calls/Flash Operator panel/use of gizmo project/ring groups and so much more. I found the info available here was brilliant with regards to setting up the incoming and outgoing stuff for gizmo and which ports etc are required to be opened :) One thing it doesn't mention is that you need to set internal routes for default ring groups etc.
Next step is to move it close to the router so I don't have a cable dangling round the house and then either get a cheap ip phone or a convertor box. The trackback URL for this post is http://www.thewetbeaversmileswhentickled.com/bblog/trackback.php/96/ Comments
